SuperWeek Day #2

Yesterdays road race was a fast 102-mile interval workout. Go go go, slow slow slow. That went on the whole race.
Again the team had Kayle, Sebastian and myself that could win the race so from the start we wanted to have all the other guys to cover moves and have us three to just chill. However things became a little more interesting when I found myself going across to a group of 8 guys solo. When I made it across, I sat on for a few miles just to recover and then I started to work because I was super motivated with only 50 miles to go.
But for some reason the break was uncooperative and we didn’t work together for jack. We had a 2min gap and we were screwing around. Imagine the gap we would have if we all worked as a team? We stayed off for about 20 miles before the field reconnected.

Late in the race, Adam (rock racing) went in a group that stayed off the front to the finish. Adam finished 3rd with Haldane, Kayle, Sterling and I finishing in the field.

Rudy was DQ for passing on the yellow line just 10 miles into the race in a questionable call from the referee.

Today is a Crit that last year, I had killer legs in. Today on the ride this morning, the legs felt a little tired from the road race.
