GreenWood, SC
Coming off a second place the day before my self-confidence was pretty high and I was pretty eager about racing today’s course. I think by far this was the most challenging course. From the last corner to the finish line was about 300m with a hard gradual up hill. The backside had a fun chicane and a few really fast turns that takes you right to he final turn.
The race was pretty fast and lots of attacks where going and as the night before they gave out tons of 100 dollar primes. I found my self in some almost serious moves but nothing stuck.
At the end, we wanted to lead-out Kayle again and with three to go, Jeremiah, Rudy and I were right on the front and the wind was so vicious that I thought it was to early to be there but we were committed. With two to go, I lost position do to the swarm but never gave up. Going into one to I made my move with Kayle on my wheel, but it was a little to late. Kayle finished 7th and I rolled in the top 15 somewhere.
Today is our last race so we are looking to leave it all on the line.
Ill keep you posted.
